The first round of auditions for Clash of The Choirs kicked off this weekend at the Dance Factory in Newtown, and talented singers from across Gauteng flocked to the venue to give it their all.

Choir hopefuls showcased their best skills before celebrity Gauteng Choir Master Zakes Bantwini, who chatted to us about his role in Clash of the Choirs - and what he's looking for in his choristers.


Judging from the energy bursting forth at the first leg of auditions, Clash of The Choirs promises to be chock-full of the nation's best and brightest talent!




Next up, the show will head to Mpumalanga for singers there to audition for the exciting new show. Mpumalanga’s Choirmaster Zwai Bala is ready for the talented hopefuls to sing their hearts out.
