Chris Brown homes in on RiRi

Chris Brown has been cosying up to Rihanna after his girlfriend Karrueche Tran gave the R'n'B singer the boot this week, apparently because she had finally “had enough” of his philandering ways.

Throughout the pair’s short relationship, Chris had apparently been hooking up with other girls.

And of course the crooner has been openly flirting with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in recent months. In September, Chris and Rihanna exchanged a kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and were caught making out in public at a New York City nightclub this week.

They also chose to step out together at Jay-Z’s concert in Brooklyn on Wednesday evening. Audience members were quick to confirm the two stars were there on Twitter, with some taking photos of them and posting the images online.

The pair were in the VIP area and, although they weren’t caught canoodling, Chris did have his arm over the back of Rihanna’s seat.

But while it's not certain that the two are back on, one thing's for sure: he won't be seeing much of Karrueche anymore.

"Karrueche finally had enough and dumped Chris for good,” a source told Radar Online.

“Karrueche and Chris had been on thin ice for a while, but after he was spotted getting with Nicole Scherzinger in a Los Angeles nightclub recently, and then when reports surfaced that he had hooked up with Rihanna - so she finally dumped him.”

"Karrueche was very patient with Chris and never nagged him about what he had been doing whenever they were apart. She never went through his cellphone, but she suspected for a long time that he had been cheating on her for some time, she just never had the proof... They are both young, but she just couldn't tolerate being publicly humiliated anymore.”

The Run It singer clearly isn’t interested in Karrueche. Soon afterwards he was spotted leaving Rihanna’s hotel. Later, the two singers apparently enjoyed a date to a Jay-Z concert.

The couple were seen kissing and cuddling at a New York City nightclub earlier this week and now seem happy for people to know they are back together.

The two split in 2009 after he assaulted her but there has been speculation they were planning to reunite throughout 2012. They have recorded tracks together and been seen in the same places, including on holiday in the South of France.

The news that RiRi and Chris attended Jay-Z’s show appears to prove their rekindled romance might be accepted by those close to them.

Jay-Z is Rihanna’s mentor and was famously appalled after Chris assaulted her. He refused to stand or clap after Chris performed at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
