This Sunday our comic book hero lineup continues with the action-packed movie, The Green Lantern.

The movie stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively in the lead roles, with Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett appearing in the ensemble cast.

While we’ve been breaking down the character biographies for The Avengers, we thought we’d take a different approach to this movie. We’re looking at the beautiful Blake and her evolution in Hollywood.

Sister Blake
 
We got our first taster of the fresh-faced star in 2005 when she appeared opposite America Ferreira in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She played the role of Bridget in the film.



Schoolgirl Blake

While that film gave her a good start, her real big break came when she was cast as Serena van der Woodsen in the hit show, Gossip Girl back in 2007. The show will return for one final season later this year, so look out for that one.



Pretty Blake

From rebellious school girl to uptown New York socialite, the show has made the star one of the most fashionable names in the industry, with designers flocking to dress her and have her endorsing their brand. You can see her Gucci campaign currently airing on our platform.



Vogue Blake
 
With her being in demand, the star has graced several magazines worldwide. Earlier this year she was seen on the cover of Vogue, looking all elegant and gorgeous.



Ryan and Blake
